Female Brilliance - Happy Easter!

Female Brilliance - Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

It's Spring time, nicer weather - and cute fluffy little bunnies 🐰 , baskets filled with chocolates and jelly beans, beautifully dyed and decorated eggs, and Easter egg hunts.

Another fun holiday... ingenious, fun customs for kids and the kid in all of us?  A few years ago my boss held a timed Easter egg hunt in our office - what a cool idea.  We got really competitive.  Lol

This handsome dog is Pumpkin, an English Springer Spaniel - who prides himself on being a hunting breed with a strong hunting instinct.  He enjoys the suburban life and when inside buildings, he still enjoys hunting flying creatures - but insects 🐞 - flies, mosquitoes, moths, etc. - instead of birds.  We get that.  We all adapt to our surroundings. 👍🏼 LOL.

About holidays...

Just like other big holidays, there can be also a more solemn meaning that some people take very seriously.  We at Female Brilliance (and EHSWO) would like to offer that insight to you - as always, to expand your options.  We will present a brief description, to our best knowledge, and let you decide what to do with it.

There are so many traditions around the world with so many ethnic cultures.  We enjoy learning about them all - provided they are in support of our two basic tenets:  1)  Create Beauty and 2) Nurture Life.

We invite you to send us a short description of your own culture’s holidays at least two weeks in advance:  info@EHSWOcool.com .

Ok, Easter… here we go…

Easter was the day in human history when Jesus Christ was resurrected.  That is, he rose from the dead.  Yes, not kidding.  It's pretty much an incomparable miracle that no other person can claim performing.  "Resurrection" means in the body - he came back to life, not just as a spirit or a ghost, but with the same physical body🫀.

It wasn't a near-death experience where someone dies for a few seconds or minutes or hours.  He died, was buried, placed in a tomb -- for days.   As the biblical references state, he "rose" on the third day and resumed a human life for a short time. 😳

There is a lot more to say about the life of Jesus Christ, but this is the essence of Easter - it is commemorating that day.

Of course, if you don't know about this Easter significance, or if you have never heard the account, or even if you *have* heard a similar account and don't believe it, or perhaps it sounds a bit (or a lot) far-fetched 🤪- that's your decision to make - as always.

That is your free will.  If we lived in another culture and had never heard of it we would think it pretty unusual ⁉️, to say the least.

But from a theological standpoint - here's the thing.  We believe it's relevant to include this point, that Jesus was known as the Son of God.  What does THAT mean?  Exactly.  It's way, way esoteric (higher level of abstract thinking). 🤓

Some people believe in a God, and some don't.  Some call it something else, and some are not concerned.  But if you consider the *possibility* of a creator called God, then how does God, that divine being, have a son?  🤔Right?

So the theologians assert that Jesus Christ was... are you ready?

He was fully divine AND fully human.

Fully divine and fully human.

HUH? 🫨  What does that mean?  How can that be?  How can you be both? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well, we don't know exactly.  LOL.  We do know that this is what Christians believe.  And it actually works because if Jesus was not just a mere human being but also a divine being, then it would be possible that these extraordinary things like a resurrection can happen. 👍🏼 In other words, he was literally no mere mortal.

And he performed countless miracles in his lifetime - as did his closest followers.🤗  When they followed him, they discovered they also had these incredible talents and abilities.

Wouldn't that be cool, that if you started following an athlete 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️⚽️ or celebrity 💃🕺or some influencer, you would/might also gain their skills?  Many would be able to do the things he did - like basically heal illness 🩺and disease.

Anyway, to wrap up the Easter theme, we've heard it called recently, a "triumph of hope" 🙏🏼.  Jesus knew he was going to die a horrendous death, then rise from the dead three days later.  He made no secret of this, and he told his followers.  So he did die ✝️ much to their disappointment, and he promised he would come back to life, and he did.  That is the triumph of hope.

That's what's so cool/funny/fascinating.  Total transparency - because he told them, they didn’t believe or understand him, but it actually happened.  🙋🏽‍♂️

If you are Christian, this is a magnificent time of celebration.  🎉   Easter is on par with or exceeds the significance of Christmas.  It is the triumph of good over evil, the fulfillment of the savior’s promise, the victory of life over death. 💥 It is a very big deal. 💥

If you’re exploring your spiritual side, we are here to expand your options!  It is interesting to note that our calendar 📆 is based on the life of Jesus… as in 1000 BC (before Christ) or 250 AD (anno domini = in the year of the Lord).  The entire western world adopted this date practice.  Would they do this if someone were a fraud?  🤷🏼🤷🏻

You get to decide.  It’s your 🆓 will.

Back to the point... here we will introduce our next manipulation tactic which directly applies here:  Either-Or.

In the meantime we hope you had a great weekend, a very Happy Easter, and look forward to the next fun holiday! 🌷
